Unusual fleshy, medium green, scalloped-edged leaves resemble miniature oak leaves though its namesake was derived from a comparison made to the shape of a poplar leaf. Leaves form along semi-woody stems on small mounded plants accented with white to pink flower clusters in mid-summer. We place this one in our whacky category!
