Also known as American feverfew, this northeast native's leaves were once used to make a tea to reduce fever. We became excited for this plant with its large 5-6", medium green, coarse textured, serrate foliage and long flowering time. Tall stalks, displaying flat-topped clusters of 1/2" soft-white flowers, rise above the foliage from June through September. Found in open prairies, feverfew prefers medium to dry soils in full sun.
