Hybridized by the Dutch nurseryman J.H. Faassen, this cross of Nepeta racemosa x N. nepetella, is a standard for many of the recent catmint introductions; the best known being ‘Walker’s Low’. These great edging plants exhibit fuzzy, gray-green foliage and lavender to deep blue clusters of flowers. Excellent butterfly magnets and resistant to deer and rabbit browsing. All benefit from deadheading of spent flowers in early to late summer. Superb in sunny borders with good drainage.
