The bold foliage on this 6-12"sedge stands out amongst its peers with bright, golden-yellow, 1" wide blades and dark green margins. Insignificant brown flower spikes appear in April to May. This sedge slowly spreads by creeping rhizomes and when used in mass will brighten any shade garden. Prefers a moist soil in part to full shade.
