A North American native found growing in sandy soils and limestone outcroppings. Slowly spreads by rhizomes eventually forming a beautiful groundcover of fine, 8-10” thread-like, gleeming foliage. Spikes of indistinct white-green flowers appear in early spring. In the landscape, plant with medium moisture yet sufficient drainage.
